Synopsis

Max Westin. Sex incarnate. She could smell it, feel it with his proximity. Everything about him was a little rough, a little gritty. A primitive creature. Just like she was. He held her hand a little too long, his thickly-lashed gaze clearly stating his intentions to have her. To tame her…
“Victoria.”
Her name, just one word, but spoken with such possession she could almost feel the collar around her neck.
“It’s in your nature,” he murmured. “The desire to be taken.”

Review

This book could of been so good but sadly it wasn't great. I love the ideas and the charters but the story was a bit naff. It honestly could of been 2 or maybe even 3 books or even just a bigger book because everything felt very rushed though. which was sad because there where some pretty dramatic scenes that could of been explained in depth and really pulled you in where as with only 179 page the author really didn't have the room to do that. and it was the same with the sex, the scenes where good but if the author had of taken just a bit more time with them and made them longer they would of been so much better.
I did love the characters and I liked the ideas of the familiars and how Victoria was a slinky black cat. It was a fun idea and god I really wish there was more. I don't normally like how paranormal erotica books are always in these huge ass series  but for this book I wish there was more. I wanna know more about the world and more about that glorious couple and more about the magic. So we have established that I really wish this book was longer with more development. But over all it was enjoyable and would recommend it to paranormal romance readers.

*3 out of 5 stars*
