TBR: Comics/Graphic Novels

I have quite a hefty list of comic books and graphic novels that I want to read, and it seems to be ever growing so these are the ones I currently have on my list. I decided to lump them together in one post because they are very similar and it seemed a tad repetitive to do one post for each.

                      

Crazy About YA Books Goodreads Readathon #9: TBR

Okay so from the 20th to the 26th one of the groups I am part of is holding there 9th readathon. This will be the second one I have participated in. Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon!

Finally get to participate in a Dewey's 24 hour Readathon. Now this happens to fall on the perfect weekend. I am doing nothing and seeing nobody (I mean there is school work to be done but who needs that when there is a readathon). So here is my TBR. The Stand is the only book I will set in stone and will only read another book of I need a break of the big bugger. I can't wait for this too kick off at 1 am for me. I shall have a snooze before it starts.

Month of First's

So unconsciously I have made the month of October the month of first's. I am currently reading my first dragon book, Seraphina by Rachel Hartman. After I have finished Seraphina I intend on reading my first proper horror, my first Stephen King and my first non middle grade Neil Gaiman. I have decided that dragon books are all they are hyped up to be and that I wish I hadn't of put off reading a dragon book for so long. I am very excited about my first horror and Stephen king, I constantly hear such great things about Stephen king so I look forward to being able to contribute my opinions as well. The book I am going to pick up is Carrie, I decided on Carrie because its shorter than alot of his other books and I loved the cover. As for the non middle grade Neil Gaiman I am going to pick up stardust and the ocean at the end of the lane, I am also really excited to pick these two up. So yea the month of first's! I am happy I have accidentally done this.

October TBR

During October I wanna finish a bunch of series, read my first Stephen King and some more Neil Gaiman. Also want to try polish off my borrowed/library book pile.
     
  

These are the books I will definitely read and the rest is up to how I feel. I have 2 weeks of holiday in the month of October so should get plenty read!

Classic's

Although I read a lot I don't consider my self very well read. I would like to put a stop to that feeling by reading more classics and adult fiction to get a way from my almost just young adult reading pallet. In particular I have hardly read any classics so I would like to put amends to that. Over the next year I would like to read a bunch more classics, don't really have a specific number but I do have a list I will pick and chose from though out the year.

Hopefully I will get to at least half of these within the next year.

After taking a look at all of the series I am currently reading I have realized I have a problem. I am currently reading a total of 17 series most of which I have only read one or two books from. How I let this list get so big I don't know but here is a list of all of them. Some I am close to finishing others not so much.

Favorites of the list so far would have to be The Assassin's Curse, Grisha Trilogy, The Giver and Throne of Glass. So I would recommend those to anyone who hasn't picked them up yet.

But in all seriousness I need to get this list under control.
